I'm surprised, though, that they seemed to have all these procedures well in mind (Hand-washing and so forth) and the teacher seemed to be totally unaware of them.

I hope Max has a great time at school, and everything works out well!Kate Oliverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17710471909216073605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357277541662100639.post-10195097115311388392008-08-25T13:59:00.000-07:002008-08-25T13:59:00.000-07:00ok....I am soo surprised with the likeness in how ...ok....

I am soo surprised with the likeness in how our kids react. Or that even touching these products can be dangerous for our kids....

but I'm thankful that you can appreciate the teacher's perspective and remember our first days with allergy awareness!! I'm sure with your support encouragements she'll be a great teacher for your son. And she at least sounds willing to learn how to help take care of him. And I'm thankful for the school nurse....it's always nice to have an ally!In Everythinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01789551507678673996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357277541662100639.post-24936666641628725552008-08-25T13:32:00.000-07:002008-08-25T13:32:00.000-07:00It's so hard, isn't it?? I'm glad the nurse called and you feel like you have an ally in all this. I'll be thinking about you and your son and hoping that all goes well. HUGS to you!!
And on an ironic side note - we went to my non allergic childs orientation today and my food allergy childs eye swelled up from some kind of contact reaction. It never ends....ChupieandJ'smama (Janeen)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12367131116081742274noreply@blogger.com
